Our Excel Module 2 – Data Analysis and Pivot Tables course looks at how to handle your data more efficiently. It looks at creating data to give a more visual appearance and shows tips and tricks for creating your own dashboards. It looks at how to manage large amounts of data and the best ways to handle and analyse data.

This course is aimed at existing users of Excel who want to increase their skills. Participants should be able to create and amend worksheets and build simple formulas.

I would definitely recommend this course. To gain knowledge of the tools explained on the course would make your work far more efficient and enable you to report or present your work more effectively. The Tutor’s delivery was highly professional with a good balance of humour whilst maintaining a great command of the class, driving the training by keeping everyone focused throughout the day… very impressive! What I found most useful was linking information by working with tables to only then update the single source of information before refreshing, and all the graphs and pivot tables to summarise outputs for reporting purposes. With regards to improvements, the day had sufficient well timed breaks, and overall, I thought flowed really well. I received clear instructions of the location well in advance. The venue was very conveniently located with easy (free) parking and no stress or hassle before starting the session. I hadn’t previously visited the Beehive building which has so much to admire within. What a fantastic training venue!!
