For those of you in the Project Planning Community this is the tool you have been waiting for. No more poor schedules with random open-ended tasks, hard constraints tying down activities, filled with leads and lags you cannot find. Acumen FUSE allows you to evaluate and improve your schedules, fully understand the logic, analyse the effect changes could have and compare schedules as they progress.

If you have not come across it, Deltek Acumen FUSE is a schedule diagnostics tool and I have certainly not come across anything like it in the industry. For any Primavera Risk Analysis users, it takes the elements of the schedule check and then adds to it with an amazing array of tools to help you analyse, compare and improve your schedules.

The tool gives you a unique insight into how project plans are put together, enabling you to improve them and how they are executed, which can ultimately lead to competitive advantage in the marketplace. It helps you to build sound, realistic schedules, provide schedule, cost, earned value and project performance analysis and allows you to score and critique schedule quality, helping you to pinpoint weaknesses, evaluate performance and gauge the impact of changes

In this series of blogs I am aiming to explore the different element of the tool to show the power behind what it does.

For any of you already using Acumen FUSE or thinking of using it, Underscore Training are an Accredited Deltek Training Partner, which means that we have the support from Deltek and also feedback into the tool and future releases while still being an independent learning and development provider. We offer a two-day Acumen FUSE training programme which looks in depth at the different elements of the tool and gives participants the chance for hands on use in a safe environment. Common feedback from those attending the course was that they were amazed at how much it could do and realised they were only using perhaps a small percentage of its capability!

To find out more about our course please visit our Acumen FUSE page, or view our Public Programme Dates, to see the next available training date for this course.
Alternatively if you have a group requiring training we can organise dates to suit you.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions on 0203 9503730 or by email on training@underscore-group.com.
